Led by a CEO currently shaping the future of strategic management through doctoral research at JKUAT, we bridge the gap between academic innovation and heavy-industrial execution. By marrying German engineering (Vollert, Liebherr, Kleeman) with African solar energy, we are not just building houses and railways, we are building the infrastructure of sovereignty.

Mr. Foster M. Anangwe

At the helm of Sunford Investments Limited is Mr. Anangwe, a leader whose professional journey mirrors the economic transformation of East Africa. With over two decades of experience in the enterprise sector, Mr. Anangwe has successfully navigated Sunford through the complexities of market shifts, evolving the firm from its origins into a highly sought-after industrial partner for sovereign states.

 

Academic & Strategic Depth
His leadership is not merely operational; it is deeply rooted in strategic theory and innovative practice:

  • PhD Candidate (Strategic Management): Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

  • Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation: JKUAT.

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing): Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) University.

 

The 2020 Germany Trade Accords
Under Mr. Anangwe’s stewardship, 2020 marked a watershed moment for the African construction landscape. During a high-level mission to Germany, he successfully negotiated and signed strategic trade agreements that form the backbone of Sunford’s current capacity:

 

Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH: A partnership to establish fully automated, solar-powered precast factories across 52 African nations.

 

Liebherr-Export AG: Ensuring a steady supply of high-performance batching plants and Mercedes-Benz logistics fleets.

 

Kleeman Germany: Securing advanced crushing technology for localized raw material processing.

Our Companies Overview And Partnership

Sunford Investments Limited is a Limited Liability Construction Company based in Nairobi, Kenya currently Trading as Sunford Africa.

 

Sunford Africa intends to establish 2-in-1 Precast Concrete Factories across Africa as per our expansion plan to produce elements for:

  • Affordable Quality Housing (Solid Walls, Hollow Floor Slabs, Beams and Columns)

  • Quality Affordable Concrete Rail Sleepers

 

Our company also intends to venture into:

  • Actual Railway Line Construction for both Transborder and City Lines

  • Supply 100% Solar Powered Trains both Cargo and Commuter for the African Market (first of its kind in the world)

  • Establish Modern Automated Heavy Duty Intralogistics Solution for Africa Ports and Industrial Parks (Storage Systems, Transport-Conveying Systems, Automatic process Cranes, E-mobility-Intralogistics and Container Logistics System.    

 

In 2020 Sunford Investments Limited CEO-Foster Anangwe Malala visited Vollert Group Headquarters in Germany and signed a Trade Agreement to established Fully Automated Precast Factories in Kenya and later across Africa.

 

In 2022 Vollert Group Germany was invited to Kenya by Sunford Investments Limited and the Government of Kenya President’s Council of Economic Advisors for a full and detailed Presentation of the entire Vollert Architectural Precast Construction Technology which was chaired by Dr. David Ndii. The outcome was; Vollert Architectural Precast Construction Technology was the solution for Mass Quality Affordable Housing in Kenya bearing in mind it will save 35%-40% of the construction cost.

Elematic Concrete Acquired Vollert Precast Solution:

Vollert Group Germany was established in 1925, as a manufacturer of Concrete Precast Factories. Recently Vollert Group Germany sold its Precast Solution Portfolio to Finnish Concrete element technology innovator Elematic Oyj. The new unit, Vollert Precast Solutions, will continue its operations in Germany as part of the Elematic Group.

 

Elematic Oyj Finland is a Global Leader in Precast Concrete Technology with over 65 years of experience and 4,000 Plants (Automation Systems and Software covering entire Precast Value Chain) delivered to more than 100 Countries in Europe, Asia, South America, North America and Middle East. Sunford Africa, Vollert Group Germany And Elematic Group Finland

In Line, with the previous Trade Agreement between Sunford Investments Limited and Vollert Group Germany signed in 2020. Vollert Precast Solution Germany transfer all implementing rights to Elematic Group Finland as a Going Concern.

 

Sunford Investments Limited will still deal directly with Vollert Group Germany Heavy Duty Solution Portfolio for Intralogistics Processes Solution and Shunting-loading processes solution for Africa Sea/Dry Ports and Industrial Parks Storage Solution.
